The Beneteau Cyclades 50.4 is very spacious compared to other 50 footers. The spaciousness of Mika leads to a level of comfort unsurpassed in its class. Five cabins make up the accommodations, with four double cabins, each with its own head and shower in the corners, and a single berth and head for crew at the front. The comfortable cockpit has easy access from the built-in swim platform due to the twin steering wheels.
Andrea is a licensed Captain and is a very experienced sailor, having lived aboard Mika for 3 years and sailing her 17,000 nautical miles from Italy. He is a former artist and was very successful in Italy. Leaving everything in 2012, he decided to create a new life at sea. He is a great fisherman and a really excellent chef, cooking up delicious Italian cuisine. He also enjoys to play the guitar and dance salsa.
Andrea is supported by a hostess who make sure the guests are well looked after.
Mika's interior has very comfortable living and sleeping areas. With 4 large double-bed cabins, everyone has their own private space. The cabins are fitted with a fan, reading lights, plenty of storage space and an opening hatch. Each cabin has a private bathroom, with cupboards, sink and shower head with hot water. Mika is extremely spacious throughout, especially in the large salon area where there is large L-shaped leather sofas, providing a social space, or a place to chill out and read a book. The wide dining table is perfect for enjoying meals together. The galley is well equipped, with an oven and gas hob, 2 large fridge-freezers, and plenty of storage and counter space. As the weather is usually hot and sunny, our guests often choose to relax outside. The cockpit is fit with comfortable seating and we provide padded mattresses and pillows. We also have hammocks that can be strung up at the front of the boat. The flush deck means that there is an abundance of space for relaxing and sunbathing. We often use the large, fold out dining table in the cockpit to eat together amongst the paradise of San Blas. We have LED fitted lights for the evening times, and a stereo system both inside and out.
The 2 person kayak is ready for passengers to use, exploring the reefs and far out islands, perhaps to catch the sunset from a deserted white sand beach looking out to sea. They can also arrange excursions through jungle, to beautiful waterfalls, on the Guna Yala mainland. Andrea and Andre make a fantastic cooking team; guests will experience delicious cuisine, all made with fresh ingredients, and tailored to your specific preferences.
