Welcome on board our yacht, a Knysna 440 Catamaran, with her 44ft of elegantly laid-back luxury, 2 beautiful en-suite cabins, saloon, cockpit and deck... and experienced crew of 2.
We lie on anchor at St Georges, which gives our guests the feeling of living on the ocean with some breathtaking sunrises and sunsets. Jump out of bed and into the ocean to snorkel among all kinds of fish as well as turtles, before breakfast, is a wonderful experience. Being completely surrounded by the gorgeous aquamarine hues of the ocean here in Grenada, one can also simply relax and just enjoy the view to no end.
Cruising between the yacht and land is done by our dinghy which also is a fun journey all on its own.
As qualified skipper, experienced sailors, seasoned travellers, qualified tour guides and safari operators, Captain Gerrie and first mate Hettie Schoeman are the ideal team to cater for the needs of the guests in their company....combined with a witty sense of humour, genuine care for the environment and good communication and people skills, they embrace an infectious love of life.
We operate in a region of outstanding natural beauty, featuring waterfalls, mountains and forests. There is art, architecture and culture to enjoy and the islands are dotted with picturesque towns filled with culture and chic waterfront eateries.
Grenada is an island country consisting of Grenada itself and six smaller islands at the southern end of the Grenadines in the southeastern Caribbean Sea.
St Vincent is also an island country in the Lesser Antilles island arc, in the southern portion of the Windward Islands, which lie at the southern end of the eastern border of the Caribbean Sea where the latter meets the Atlantic Ocean. The country is also known simply as Saint Vincent.
The Grenadines are an island chain that is part of Saint Vincent and Grenada. There are 32 islands and cays that make up Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Nine are inhabited, including the mainland Saint Vincent and the Grenadines islands: Young Island, Bequia, Mustique, Canouan, Union Island, Mayreau, Petit St Vincent, and Palm Island.
With our sailing charters, we have predetermined itineraries but can also offer a unique alternative experience…perhaps another preferred route, a longer or shorter voyage, a discrete break-away or that final journey for someone with special needs. We embrace freedom and do not limit our clients to anything other than the rules regarding safety.
The Knysna 440 achieves a slinky low profile through deft treatment of the hull-to-deck-connection and a very comfortable deck saloon. An arch on the stern carries the mainsheet out of people range and also draws the eye aft, emphasizing the effect of the long bow and the steeply raked mast. The standard sailing rig of big main and furling genoa is supplemented with an optional screecher on a bowsprit and also a spinnaker. Below, the decor is influenced by the colors and style associated with beachfront living.
This catamaran is a fast and excellent sailing vessel, a well-equipped blue-water cruising catamaran, built to the highest of standards and in outstanding condition. Having meticulous owners, she has been regularly maintained and shows very, very well.
